Update: Tyrann Mathieu Enters Rehab, Isn’t Ruling Out 2012 Return

Youtube/lsusportsnet
WVUE New Orleans is reporting this morning that Tyrann Mathieu, LSU’s former star football player nicknamed the “Honey Badger”, has been in rehab for drug addiction at the Right Step recovery center in Houston since Monday.
“The Honey Badger’s father, Tyrone Mathieu, tells FOX 8 Sports that he and Tyrann agree — until he conquers his demons, he won’t be successful at his future endeavors, wherever they unfold.”
Mathieu will stay in rehab for the immediate short term.
UPDATE: Joe Schad, ESPN’s CFB Reporter, just tweeted that there “is no timeline” for Tyrann.

We wish him the best in his recovery.
