Johnny Manziel Was Asked To Leave Nike’s “The Opening” Camp
Football fans may find this hard to believe, but apparently Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is not a household name for every single person in the country. According to Wahoos247 Insider Jamie Oakes, Manziel was asked by security at Nike’s “The Opening” camp to leave the area. Manziel was asked by Nike to be a counselor at the event all week..

Why, then, did this happen? Because the security guard had no idea who Manziel was.
Per Wahoos247 Insider Jamie Oakes, Manziel was asked by security at The Opening to leave the main testing area at Bo Jackson field. While this might raise some eyebrows based on recent events, it turns out the staff security simply did not know who “Johnny Football” was.
Stange, yes, that a security guard hired to work a high school/college camp full of elite players wouldn’t have heard of Manziel. Maybe a few successful starts in the NFL will change that.
