Video: New Tennessee Basketball Coach Donnie Tyndall Given His First Orange Blazer By Ray Mears’ Sons

New Tennessee coach Donnie Tyndall truly became part of the Vols family today, when during a caravan event in Johnson City, he donned his first orange blazer.

The blazer tradition was started by legendary Vols coach Ray Mears, and Tyndall was appropriately given the item by Mears’ sons, Steve and Matt. UTSports.com’s write-up of the event calls today Tyndall’s “first official day as the head man of the Vols.”

The Mears family, and all Tennessee fans, certainly hope that this is the last blazer they have to give out for a long time.
