Gary Pinkel Using Bye Week To Visit Recruits Via Helicopter
Missouri football has a bye this week, which, for the players, is a time to rest before the grueling SEC schedule begins. Head Coach Gary Pinkel and Cornerbacks Coach Cornell Ford will spend their bye week on the recruiting trail, however. It appears they’ll be arriving in style.
Excited to have HC Pinkel and Coach Ford from #Mizzou flying in on the helicopter to watch the game vs. Alton on Friday at O’Fallon.

That’s right, the helicopter is back. The last time the chopper was in the news was when Missouri was recruiting Dorial Green-Beckham.
O’Fallon, a town located just outside of St. Louis, boasts a football program with two players who the Tigers might be interested in. Defensive end Dewayne Hendrix is a four-star recruit who has a scholarship offer from Missouri. He is ranked 114th nationally, ninth at his position and fifth in the state of Illinois. Three-star prospect Micquell Cotton is listed as a athlete, and the Tigers are listed in his college choices.
