Mississippi State Is Getting Trolled By The Entire Internet With #Fight4MSU Hashtag

Mississippi State is playing host to Kentucky tonight in Starkville as part of ESPN’s weekly Thursday night showcase, and the school is expecting an extra rowdy crowd on hand to support the Bulldogs. MSU decided that it wanted to get those fans engaged in the game beforehand, and created a hashtag that fans could tweet if they want to appear on the stadium’s video board:

Of course, when it was announced that all tweets featuring the hashtag would appear on the screen, Twitter exploded with literally thousands of tweets trolling Mississippi State. The tweets aren’t even all mean — many are as random as can be:

I think it’s safe to say not all of the tweets will find their way onto the screen. It was a great try by the school, but the Internet always wins.
