LSU’s Les Miles Does Not Miss Former SEC Star QBs Johnny Manziel, A.J. McCarron, Or Aaron Murray

The Southeastern Conference might be lacking a little bit of star power at the beginning of the 2014 season.

Gone are three quarterbacks that have been staples of the most dominant league in college football. Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel, Alabama’s A.J. McCarron, and Georgia’s Aaron Murray have all departed from their schools, and are now in the NFL.

Some fans likely will miss seeing those players on Saturdays. LSU coach Les Miles will not.

The SEC does have some quarterbacks that could be primed to to become stars in 2014, including Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott and Ole Miss’ Bo Wallace.

Miles has to replace a quarterback of his own, too. Zach Mettenberger is now in the NFL. Freshman Brandon Harris is expected to start for the Tigers this fall.
