LSU QB Zach Mettenberger Rips Tim Tebow’s Quarterbacking Abilities, Cites “Terrible Mechanics”

Tim Tebow really gets disrespected a ton for being one of the best college football players of all time. Johnny Manziel said a few weeks ago that he’s a better passer than Tim Tebow (although the numbers don’t even support that) and now LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger is firing some shots.

When asked about his work with Cam Cameron, his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, he explained that he didn’t have that much to improve:

It’s obviously not an uncommon criticism of Tebow — he does have abnormal mechanics. But all he does is win, baby — Mettenberger probably shouldn’t talk until he does the same.
