LSU Newspaper Uses The Term “Cock-Blocked” To Describe Tigers’ Win Over South Carolina
South Carolina sure did end up disappointed on Valentine’s Day.
The Gamecocks hosted the LSU Tigers on Thursday night but got crushed at home by a score of 64-46. The LSU Daily Reveille then decided to poke fun at South Carolina in this morning’s newspaper:
I can’t believe this was the headline in the sports page of the LSU newspaper today. Wow. @lsubasketball #lsuroar twitter.com/JacquesDoucet/…

LSU beats South Carolina in men’s basketball last night. Headline in today’s @tdr_sports: “COCK BLOCKED” twitter.com/Kyle_Whitfield…
— Kyle Whitfield (@Kyle_Whitfield) February 15, 2013
Maybe the Reveille realized it may have gone too far, because the online edition of the article omits the rather edgy headline. Either way, the headline is admittedly funny, particularly as a post-Valentine’s day joke.
