It’s Been A Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Week For UGA QB Aaron Murray
University of Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is having a rough time.
Over the weekend, UGA lost to South Carolina in a game that likely crushed Georgia’s chances at an SEC title. Murray played poorly. When he and teammate Christian Robinson returned to Athens, they found their house vandalized with toilet paper and eggs. Then, he learned that his father had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Murray drove to Tampa, FL, Sunday to visit his dad, who underwent surgery this morning according to ESPN.
Probably the worst 12 hours of my life but I know my family will push through. Keep my dad in your prayers please

It got worse. The quarterback tweeted today that he had been pulled over in Gainesville:
I would get pulled over in Gainesville. Don’t think I am gonna be able to get out of this one

To Murray’s credit, he seems to be taking the tough breaks in stride. The composure will help him when the Bulldogs take on Kentucky on October 20.
