Scoop: Quinton Dial will not be suspended for the BCS Championship Game after the SEC reviewed his late hit in the SEC Championship.

Significance: In the SEC Championship Game two weeks ago, Alabama defensive lineman Quinton Dial took an unquestionably dirty cheap shot on Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray. Story: According to Jeff Schultz of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Dial is eligible to play on January 7th.
