Georgia Sends Hand-Drawn Picture To Recruit

If you follow college football recruiting, maybe you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to schools trying to appeal to prospective players. Think again.

That’s a hand-drawn, colored picture of D’Andre Walker, a four-star defensive end in the 2015 class. In the photo, Walker is sporting a half-Langston Hughes, half-Georgia jersey. The picture also features a note from Georgia coach Mark Richt, that reads: “D’Andre, Red+Black Looks Good On You! Mark Richt.”

The half-and-half jersey was last made famous by Brady Quinn’s sister, also A.J. Hawk’s wife, during the 2005 Fiesta Bowl between Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Georgia currently has the No. 16 class in the country for 2015, according to Rivals.com. A commitment from Walker would likely boast them up the rankings.
