College basketball fans – especially those in Florida – were robbed a bit last year when the NCAA dragged its feet regarding Gators freshman Chris Walker’s eligibility. While he was eventually cleared to play, head coach Billy Donovan clearly didn’t feel comfortable giving him a prominent role on an already-successful team, so he played sparingly throughout the conference slate and the postseason. But in 2014, that will all change, as Walker will be ready to roll from the get-go.
Walker was the 12th-ranked overall recruit according to ESPN, and his amazing athleticism is one of the major reasons why. Today, the man himself posted a photo of a few dunks he’s thrown down – and his head it literally above the rim in the shots.
Walker is listed at 6-foot-10, which actually makes this more impressive. We have a feeling that the rest of the SEC won’t find it very fun to guard him in transition.
