Report: Florida Junior Guard DeVon Walker Tears His ACL, Will Miss 2014-15 Season

Billy Donovan will be without many of his key players from last season’s team in 2014-15 with the departure of four seniors. He’ll be without one of his top returning players, too.

Florida junior guard DeVon Walker tore his ACL and will miss the 2014-15 season, sources told Jeff Borzello of CBS Sports.

As a sophomore on Florida’s Final Four team, Walker averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds a game. Many expected the 6-foot-6 wing player to make a leap heading into his junior season and become a serious contributor for the Gators.
