Arkansas’ Director Of Football Recruiting Threw A Twitter Fit After 4-Star OT Left Razorbacks

Earlier today, Jermaine Eluemunor decided he no longer wants to be an Arkansas Razorback. The 4-star offensive tackle from Scranton, PA, had committed to Arkansas in July, not long after he decommitted from UCLA. However, he announced that he has changed his mind yet again, and at the moment, plans to make Texas A&M his college destination.

Losing a recruit is never fun for a program, but one Arkansas staff member was infuriated by Eluemunor’s departure. Arkansas’ director of football recruiting, Chris Hauser, must have learned of the recruit’s switch yesterday, and decided to vent a bit on Twitter:

He followed that up by posting a link about the spread not fitting in with the NFL (one from three years ago no less):

As if that wasn’t enough, Hauser proceeded to post a number of links of former Wisconsin offensive linemen that have recently gone to the pros (Hauser joined the Arkansas staff with Bret Bielema in December 2012):

I think it’s safe to say he’s not pleased about losing Eluemunor, but really, isn’t this a bit much? High school kids often change their minds, whether coaches like it or not, and I don’t think this is going to be the end of the Arkansas football program. There’s no need to try to shame a recruit for his change of heart — this is just embarrassing.
