Georgia QB Aaron Murray On Clowney: “I Think Fear Was Misused For Respect”
Another day, another response to South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney’s controversial quote from the SEC Media Days on Monday. In case you’ve forgotten, Clowney said he knows that certain quarterbacks “fear” him – and he cited Clemson’s Tajh Boyd and Georgia’s Aaron Murray.
Well, we saw Boyd’s former teammate DeAndre Hopkins stand up for his former signal-caller yesterday. Today, Murray made sure to clarify how he feels about Clowney.

Murray has said before that he respects Clowney, so this doesn’t come as a surprise. But he clearly doesn’t like being labeled as “fearing” anyone, even the most terrifying player in the game. Clowney’s choice of words may be gaining him some enemies before the season even starts.
