Former USC head coach Lane Kiffin continues to take a beating. After the Trojans 38-31 victory over Arizona last night, in which they stormed out to a 14-0 lead and looked like a revived football team, school AD Pat Haden made it clear that times have changed – for the better. Per Scott Wolf:
#USC AD Pat Haden: “(The players) have hope now.”

Add that to what former USC coach Pete Carroll tweeted out this morning and you can start to see a trend.

I’m not sure what it says about the job Haden is doing (or did) if he’s now half-admitting that the players lacked hope before the coaching change, but either way, the Trojans and their fans seem to be much more content with Ed Orgeron running the show.
USC takes on rival Notre Dame next week – if the Trojans can pull the upset against the Irish, the coaching situation in LA could get even more interesting.
