The Twitterverse Rips Into USC With The Always Fun “Transitive Property” After Washington Beats Stanford
You’ve heard it before. “Team A beat Team B, and Team B beat Team C, so Team A must be better than Team C.” Ah yes, the old adage that only realistically works with numbers has reared its ugly head again. Flawed logic, of course.
After last night’s victory by Washington over Stanford, the entire Twitterverse decided to remind USC that it’d lost to the Cardinal, who’d lost to WU, who’d been crushed by LSU. And therefore?
Soo, Stanford beats USC, then gets beat by Washington, a team that LSU dominated. Point being USC was over rated just like every year.

so we have USC, who was defeated by Stanford, who was defeated by Washington, who was defeated by LSU. ^_^

So since Washington upset Stanford, does that mean that LSU is better than USC? and that AU could hang with the PAC-12? #BCSProblems

Stanford > USC. Washington > Stanford. LSU embarrassed Washington. SEC > everyone.

Stanford beats USC then loses to Washington who got blown out by an LSU team that may not even be 2nd best in SEC. Still doubting the SEC?

Just woke up, and saw what the Washington Huskies did to Stanford. LSU beat Washington. Stanford beat USC. Therefore LSU > USC. #GeauxTigers

Right now, LSU > Washington > Stanford > USC is very bad for the Pac-12.

@mark_may Let me remind you, you claimed LSU is overrated…LSU 41 Washington 3…what does that make Stanford and USC! Try again!

LSU destroyed Washington, Stanford beat USC, Washington beat Stanford. How bad does USC suck!?

LSU beat Washington 41-3. Stanford beat USC. Washington beat Standford. That just goes to show how weak and over-rated USC is. #geauxtigers
