Robert Woods Leaving For NFL Because Coaches Didn’t Get Him The Ball

We all knew that USC wide receiver Robert Woods was planning to announce his departure for the NFL Draft, and today he made it official.

What nobody expected, however, is that Woods would cite the coaching staff as a reason he was leaving USC early.

It’s true — Woods had a down year compared to 2011, but the emergence of teammate Marqise Lee played a big role in that as well. Either way, it’s not exactly a ringing endorsement for Lane Kiffin, who is on a red-hot seat right now.
