Update: Here’s video, via The Dan Patrick Show.
Earlier: Many cite Lane Kiffin’s lack of experience as one of the biggest reasons for his failure at USC. It appears the Trojans are doing their best not to make the same mistake twice. This morning on The Dan Patrick Show, Super Bowl winning coach Tony Dungy claimed he was contacted by USC about filling their head coaching vacancy. Unfortunately for the program, he said no.
Tony Dungy says representatives from USC have called his people. He tells @dpshow he has no interest.

Dungy, one of the most respected men in all of football, won a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts and served as a head coach for 13 years in the NFL. We’ll see who the Trojans go after next – I’d imagine we’ll see a few more high-profile names before a decision is made.
