Photo: USC Now Using Remote Controlled Helicopters At Practice

USC won’t be allowing the press to watch its college football practices this season, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be extra sets of “eyes” getting a look at the Trojans on the field. The school just tweeted out an aerial view from one of its “remote controlled helicopters”.

The contraption, which holds a GoPro camera, allows for better angles when recording practice. 

Ironically, we just saw North Carolina unveil a drone it’s using to film practice as well. There appears to be a new trend forming in college football.
