Oregon’s Facebook Page Has A Cool Way Of Counting Down The Days Until CFB Season

College football season is just around the corner – well, sort of. The official start to the 2013 campaign is Thursday, August 29th, meaning we’ve got just over two months remaining before the first kickoff. Many big-time college football schools have been counting the days down until the season starts on Twitter or their team website, reminding fans each and every day of how close they are to seeing their squad take the gridiron. 

Oregon has taken its own route in communicating with fans how many days are left until the Ducks play their season opener. The team’s Facebook page has been posting a picture with the countdown via jersey number:


Sure, it’s not groundbreaking – but it’s a pretty cool way to get fans excited for the fall and give each player some love. And if you’re wondering what they have been doing for days in which no player wears a certain jersey number, here is your answer:


It also allows the Ducks to showcase all of their different jerseys. In case you forgot, they have more than a few.
