Video: Ohio State’s Women’s Basketball Team Completed A Buzzer-Beating 4-Point Play With 1.5 Seconds Left

Last night, college basketball had quite a few dramatic buzzer beaters. But there was one that went overlooked.

The Ohio State women’s basketball team defeated the Wisconsin Badgers, 65-59 in double overtime in Columbus. The fact that the Buckeyes had a chance at overtime was remarkable. With 1.5 seconds to go and down by four, Tayler Hill was fouled shooting a 3-pointer by Morgan Paige of Wisconsin.

Hill made the first two free throws and intentionally missed the third. That’s when Ameryst Alston threw up a putback and tied the game at 52. Take a look at the shot for yourself.

The Buckeyes have won back to back games for the first time since December and we’ll have to see if this provides a spark for the team for the rest of the season.
