Video: Ohio State Football’s Circle Drill During Spring Game
Ohio State’s spring game April 12 was rather boring. Outside of a students vs. players race at halftime, not a whole lot worth seeing happened. With Braxton Miller sitting out while recovering from a shoulder injury, the offensive displays from the teams–and more specifically, their quarterbacks–was lackluster.
But thankfully for the 60,000-plus fans who showed up at Ohio Stadium, there were some other entertaining things to watch. Most notably, a circle drill that took place just before kickoff.
Spring games aren’t supposed to really show much. “To sit through a spring game sometimes, I wouldn’t want to,” coach Urban Meyer said following the Buckeyes’ contest. But the fans are going to continue to show up, so it’d be a good idea for things like the circle drill to continue to happen.
