Video: Notre Dame’s Success Makes Regis Philbin Feel Like It’s 1949
As Jim Rome puts it, Regis Philbin, along with every other fan, has been “eating crow” about Notre Dame for the past 20 years. Now that the Fighting Irish are headed to Miami this January, the TV personality has reason to celebrate. You can bet he’ll be at the BCS National Championship Game at the start of 2013, and don’t be surprised if you see him in full body paint. Apparently Notre Dame’s success this season is making him feel young again.
