Video: Erin Andrews Responds To David Pollack: “I’m A Female, Thanks For Having Me In College Football”

This morning on ESPN’s College GameDay show, analyst David Pollack said “I’m probably going to put my foot in my mouth”, and then proceeded to do just that. When discussing Condoleezza Rice being added to the College Football Playoff Selection Committee, Pollack indicated that he didn’t think she was qualified because she had never played football. Chris Fowler then connected the dots, and asked Pollack if he thought no women should be allowed on the committee, which Pollack acknowledged was true.

Naturally, some very well-respected women in the college football landscape weren’t happy. First it was his own colleague:

Next, former ESPN employee Erin Andrews, now with FOX Sports 1, fired back at Pollack with an “I’m a female, thanks for having me” comment during FS1′s Saturday preview show. Here’s video, courtesy of Clay Travis:
