Twitter Exploding Over Duke Practice Controversy
Duke was absolutely blown out last night by Miami, and as you can imagine, Coach K was unhappy with his team’s performance.
It was reported on Dan Patrick’s radio show that upon the team’s return to Durham, Coach K held an impromptu practice from 1:30 a.m. until 4:45 a.m. But that would violate the NCAA’s practice rules.
Dan Patrick is reporting that Duke practiced last night starting at 1:30 AM and didn’t finish until 4:45 this morning.

Soon after, we started hearing that the report was inaccurate.
Told it’s not accurate. RT @dukehoopblog: Dan Patrick reporting Duke practiced last night from 1:30 AM until 4:45 this morning.

Duke associate coach Chris Collins as well as two Duke officials said Duke did not practice from 1:30 to 4:45 a.m upon returning from Miami.

And now some people are speculating that the practice did occur, but that Duke is denying the report. We’re not sure what to believe at this point, but I’m sure someone will get to the bottom of this. Or maybe not.
Lets be real. Duke practice when it was not allowed to, contacted a few people, and now the story will be deemed inaccurate

Strictly against NCAA rules to practice between midnight and 5am. Bet Duke slides their way out of this one somehow

Whatever the Twitter version of blue balls is, it just happened with the retraction of the Duke practice story.
