The Giving Spirit: Virginia Tech’s Antone Exum Spends Bowl Gift Cards On Children
Virginia Tech player Antone Exum Jr. is setting an amazing example for his fellow collegiate athletes.
For this Friday’s Russell Athletic Bowl, Virginia Tech’s and Rutgers’ players were each given a $470 gift card to Best Buy – well under the $550 max allowed for athletes. Instead of going on a spending spree himself, Exum apparently took three kids (who he’d just met) with him to the store to buy them presents. Check out his Instagram shot below.
