Story: The Owls gave Syracuse more than it could handle as a part of the Gotham City Classic at Madison Square Garden. The Orange shot just 56% from the free throw line, missing 15 attempts. Temple put it away from the line, hitting on 80%. Michael Carter-Williams struggled tremendously. He was just 3-for-15 from the field and only dished four assists.
