Report: Nebraska’s Taylor Martinez Says Big Ten Defenses Are Better Than SEC Defenses
Nebraska and Georgia have already played The Capital One Bowl, but Cornhuskers quarterback Taylor Martinez is still getting a little trash talk in – on the entire SEC.
Martinez was quoted by Journalstar.com as saying:
“I think the Big Ten, talent-wise, is a lot better, and the defenses in the Big Ten are better than SEC defenses. This was supposed to be one of the top defenses in the SEC, and we pretty much did anything we wanted against them.”
Nebraska lost to the Bulldogs, 45-31, but the Cornhuskers did put up some pretty good offensive numbers.
It’s interesting that he’s sticking up for the whole conference. Does he maybe have a point?
