Report: Michigan State RB Le’Veon Bell To Enter 2013 NFL Draft

Scoop: Running back Le’Veon Bell will skip his senior season at Michigan State to enter the 2013 NFL Draft.

Significance: Bell was the heart and soul of the Spartan offense in 2012, rushing for 1,793 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns. 

Story: Le’Veon Bell dealt some bad news to Michigan State football fans today. The junior running back told head coach Mark Dantonio that he will forgo his senior season to declare for the NFL Draft in April, according to mlive.com. According to Bell’s mentor Donis Toler, Dantonio was “taken aback a little bit” by the decision. Toler added, “He thought he had a good chance of Le’Veon coming back.” Bell is rated as the No. 2 running back in the draft by ESPN’s Scouts Inc.
