They also had names on the back for all bowl games played under Dan Devine and Gerry Faust. Lou Holtz only had names on the back for the 1988 Cotton Bowl but no other bowls after that. It is true that this will be the fourth bowl game in a row that we've done this but this has actually occurred many more times than the four stated in the article.
