Photo: Oklahoma Switches Up Midfield Logo, Endzone Colors For Spring Game

The Oklahoma football program is one of the most storied in college football history. The traditional power’s field is going to sport a modern look for its spring game this Saturday, though. 

The Owen Field’s turf usually looks like this:

As you can see, the end zones for the spring game will be painted cream and crimson, and instead of the normal, “OU,” at midfield, “OU” will appear in the middle of the state of Oklahoma, painted crimson. 

Oklahoma’s spring game is this Saturday, April 12, kickoff is set for 3 p.m. E.T.
