Photo: Oklahoma Quarterbacks Will Wear GoPro Cameras During Saturday’s Spring Game

Technology is changing the way football is being played and studied. The latest example of this trend comes from Oklahoma’s program. The Sooners have their spring game today, and the Crimson and Cream’s quarterbacks will be wearing cameras on top of their helmets.

Players wearing cameras mounted on their helmets has happening for years. The team’s use the footage in film study, and to get a good sense of what the quarterback is actually seeing. It’s a trend that isn’t likely to go away.

Oklahoma begins its 2014 campaign Aug. 30 at home against Louisiana Tech.
