Oregon’s Daily Emerald Bids Farewell To Chip Kelly With Great Front Page
There have been varied reactions to Chip Kelly’s sudden change of heart about his future as a head coach and his departure from Oregon to the Philadelphia Eagles. Some have been a little annoyed by his flip-flopping, others are worried that this sudden departure could mean a bad turn in the ongoing NCAA investigation, and one has decided to voice his displeasure by driving over his front lawn. But it seems most Ducks fans don’t hold any hard feelings and are bidding a sad but fond farewell to the greatest coach their football team has ever had.
And if you want to see the coolest and nicest goodbye message you can find in Eugene, take a look at this snazzy front page cover released today by The Daily Emerald, Oregon’s student newspaper. The athletic program isn’t the only part of that school that knows how to keep up appearances.
