Notre Dame vs. Michigan Series Cancelled

The University of Michigan’s Athletic Department has just released a statement telling fans that Michigan and Notre Dame will not be playing each other annually anymore, starting in 2015. The Wolverines had nothing to do with the decision, according to the release.

The heated rivalry will be on hold for at least the 2015, 2016, and 2017 seasons as a result of Notre Dame’s decision, but before this change in events, the two schools had already agreed to not meeting in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Whether or not this rivalry will continue after 2019 is still up in the air, but for now, the fans should enjoy the last two scheduled match-ups between the schools on September 7th, 2013 and September 6th, 2014.
