Notre Dame To Hold Blackout At Purcell Pavilion Versus Kentucky
Notre Dame is tough to defeat at home. Actually, the Irish are near-unbeatable at home. Going into the 2012-13 season, they had won 100 of their last 107 games at Purcell Pavilion, which is the second-best home record of any team in the country during that span.
In two weeks, Notre Dame will play host to the defending-champion Kentucky Wildcats, and the atmosphere is expected to be electric. To add further drama to the scene, Notre Dame is urging all fans to come wearing black to match the special black jerseys the basketball team will sport:
