Notre Dame Dumps Purdue In Crossroads Classic
Score: No. 22 Notre Dame 81, Purdue 68
Stars: Notre Dame: Jack Cooley 18 Pts, 9 Reb, 3 Blk, 2 Stl; Purdue: Rapheal Davis 21 Pts (all in 2nd half), 3 Reb
Story: Cooley solidified Notre Dame’s post presence, as guards Eric Atkins (18 Pts, 7 Ast, 3 Reb) and Jerian Grant (9 Pts, 8 Ast, 7 Reb) led the Irish to consistently beat the Boilermakers in transition going both ways. Despite Davis’ impressive 2nd half performance, Notre Dame’s 17-2 run to begin the half proved to be to much for Purdue to overcome.
Congrats @ndmbb !

Kept our poise, didn’t panic, even during Purdue’s run. Hitting FTs down the stretch was key, Coach says. #CrossroadsClassic
