LSU’s Les Miles Pokes Fun At Texas For Not Having Any Players Selected In NFL Draft
With nine selections, Louisiana State University had the most players picked in the 2014 NFL Draft among colleges. The Tigers selections included a first round pick and three second round selections.
One school that didn’t have any players selected is Texas. For the first time since 1937, the Longhorn State’s flagship football program had zero players taken in an NFL Draft. LSU coach Les Miles is aware of this. Speaking at an alumni event in Houston, Miles took a shot at the Austin, Texas-based program.
Les Miles”We are very fortunate to have players drafted in NFL, some universities in Texas aren’t so fortunate” BURN, love @LSUCoachMiles

LSU and Texas haven’t met on the gridiron since 2003, when the Longhorns defeated the Tigers in the Cotton Bowl, 35-21. All time, LSU is 7-9-1 against Texas. Maybe it’s time for the two schools to meet again.
