LSU, Notre Dame Had The Most Players Selected Through NFL Draft’s First 3 Rounds

Once again, the SEC dominated the NFL Draft’s early rounds, having 23 players selected through 100 picks. The conference had the most players selected of any league, with the Big Ten trailing with 16 selections.

What schools led the way during the draft’s first three rounds? LSU and Notre Dame. Each program had five players picked.

Neither school was extremely good on the college football field in 2013, though. LSU went 10-3, winning the Outback Bowl, while Notre Dame went 9-4, winning the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.

The best college football team in 2013–Florida State–had four players selected.
