Lil’ Wayne Spotted At Notre Dame vs. Baylor Women’s Basketball Game

The No. 3 Baylor Bears’ game against the No. 5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish has enormous national implications in women’s college basketball. That being said, Baylor isn’t the only visitor in South Bend that’s generating buzz all over the Twittersphere.

Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lil’ Wayne has been spotted in a court-side seat at the top ten matchup in Notre Dame’s Purcell Pavilion. Lil’ Wayne is one of many (280k+) who follow Irish point guard Skylar Diggins’ Twitter account; he has tweeted at her in the past, making it safe to assume he is just another fan who came to see his favorite player in women’s college basketball. A very high-profile fan, at that.

If he’s lucky, maybe he’ll get Diggins’ autograph after the game. Maybe.

See how others in the Twitter world are reacting to the rapper’s surprise appearance at the country’s leading Catholic university, of all places…
