Lawyer Who Sent Emails To Tressel At OSU Has Law License Suspended
According to ESPN, Christopher Cicero, the lawyer whose emails to former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel began the tattoo scandal at the university, has had his law license suspended for one year.
Cicero initially informed Tressel that his players were trading memorabilia for tattoos back in 2010.
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled that Cicero violated rules that prohibit a lawyer to enclose details from a meeting with a client. Cicero’s client was the owner of the tattoo parlor, Edward Rife.
