Kansas State Knocks Off Texas Palindrome-Style

The Score: No. 8 Kansas State 42, No. 18 Texas 24

The Star(s)Kansas State: Collin Klein, 287 total yards, 3 TD’s. Texas: Case McCoy. 314 Yds, 2 TD’s, 2 INTs

The Story: While it wasn’t the story-book ending that Kansas State was hoping for a few weeks ago, the Wildcats got to finish the regular season off by taking down perennial Big 12 powerhouse Texas in Manhattan. This game was tight until right before the 4th quarter, when the Wildcats scored the first of four unanswered touchdowns. The win clinched a share of the Big 12 title for Kansas State and ensured that they will play in the Fiesta Bowl on January 3rd, in Glendale.
