Joseph Shines In D-League Debut
The Maine Red Claws opened their season tonight on the road against the Canton Charge and it was Kris Joseph leading the way in a comeback that gave Maine the victory.
The Red Claws are clearly happy to welcome Fab Melo to the team, as you can see by the landing page at maineredclaws.com:
But apparently Joseph is the one fans should be excited about. Melo finished with just two points and one rebound while Joseph scored a game-high 28 points. Joseph also crashed the boards and grabbed eight assists.
The two saw a familiar face on the Canton Charge. Former Orange big man Arinze Onuaku registered a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
While I do think it’ll be a “FAB-u-lous” season for the Red Claws, I think Joseph will have a lot more to do with that than Melo.
