John Wall, Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist All In Dallas For Kentucky’s National Championship Game
The Washington Wizards last played on Saturday, and they don’t play again until Wednesday, but the team did practice this morning. Following that session, All-Star point guard and former Kentucky Wildcat John Wall quickly left the Verizon Center.
John Wall was first guy off court & quickly left arena. Why? Had to catch a flight to DAL to see Kentucky in NCAA title game #wizards

Wall played for Kentucky in 2009-’10 before leaving school for the NBA. The former No. 1 draft pick was part of John Calipari’s first class in Lexington, and the Kentucky coach heavily credits Wall with helping turn the program around.
The NBA star has been a major reason for the revival in Washington, too. The Wizards have secured a playoff berth for the first time since 2008. Wall is having a career year, averaging nearly 20 points, nine assists, and four rebounds per game.
Wall isn’t the only former Kentucky player that will be in attendance tonight, either.
Anthony Davis, John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Darius Miller, Patrick Patterson, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist all here for #Wildcats tonight
