Hurricane Isaac Forcing Teams To Reschedule Openers
Hurricane Isaac is bringing more than just bad weather. The storm forced the Miami Hurricanes to move their football practices inside. Not only is campus closed due to the storm, but Sunday’s practice is also cancelled according to the Associated Press.
And if you were planning on catching South Alabama’s game against UT-San Antonio this Thursday, you’ll have to wait until Saturday. CBS Sports reports that due to the hurricane, the game is reschedule for 2 p.m. ET this Saturday.
Louisiana Tech, which is hosting Texas A&M Thursday night, is also considering rescheduling its season opener. Even LSU’s season opener on Saturday is going to be monitored in case the weather doesn’t clear up. Be on the lookout for possible postponements.
