Five-Star Safety Recruit Quin Blanding Chooses Virginia Over Florida State, Ohio State
Quin Blanding, the No. 4 overall college football recruit (Rivals) in the country, has decided to play for the Virginia Cavaliers in 2014, he announced today. Blanding was also considering Florida State and Ohio State, though UVA was looked at as the favorite during the whole process.

Blanding is a product of Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA – the same school as fellow UVA recruit Taquan “Smoke” Mizzell. Mizzell was actually on hand for the announcement as well to show support for his former teammate.
