Early Games Scores & Highlights
A quick rundown of what we’ve already seen today:
1. Ohio State defeated Michigan in The Game, 26-21. The Bucks move to 12-0, though are ineligible to compete in a bowl game.
2. Georgia crushed Georgia Tech, 42-10. The Bulldogs move on to the SEC Championship next week, probably against Alabama. G-Tech moves on to the ACC Championship, due to Miami’s self-imposed sanctions.
3. Tennessee smashed Kentucky in a game amongst 0-7 SEC teams.
4. Miami is beating Duke 52-45, but again, can’t play in the ACC Championship.
5. Virginia Tech snuck past Virginia, 17-14.
6. Pitt handed Rutgers its first Big East loss. The Big East title has now become very complicated, because…
7. Louisville also lost today to UConn, 23-20 in triple OT. Syracuse and Cincinnati can now claim shares of the title, depending upon next week’s results.
8. Oh, and Arkansas head coach John L. Smith has been ousted – but you knew that.
