This is either ridiculously ironic or a brilliant ploy by Auburn and Notre Dame to distract Alabama starting quarterback A.J. McCarron.

McCarron, according to Busted Coverage, is now dating the former Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb. Webb is a 2011 Auburn graduate, but will be attending the 2012 BCS National Championship Game with “the McCarron clan.”

Webb is already trying to calm down upset fans. Check out the photo of the two lovebirds on Christmas Eve.
