Aaron Murray’s Tweet Shows His Serious Respect For Jadeveon Clowney
Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray is probably one guy who’d want South Carolina star defensive end Jadeveon Clowney to “sit out” his junior year.
As part of “throwback Thursday”, which, to our knowledge occurs every Thursday, Murray tweeted out a picture of Clowney looking almost superhuman as he closes in the UGA quarterback. He includes a quote, “This dude is unreal.”
Clowney was already on NFL scouts’ radar after two stellar years in the SEC, but his popularity soared after he annihilated Michigan’s Vincent Smith in the Outback Bowl. Since then, we’ve seen Clowney’s Wikipedia page hacked, fake road signs dedicated to the defensive end going viral, and newspaper ads popping up. Murray’s tweet will add to that lore.
