The Baylor Bears had a relatively easy time with the Nebraska Cornhuskers en route to a 74-60 victory in their first tournament game. Meanwhile, Creighton beat the surprisingly competitive Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns by ten. The winner will face either 2-seed Wisconsin or 7-seed Oregon.

TV Channel: TruTV

Location: AT&T Center (San Antonio, TX)

Announcers: Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Craig Sager

Opening Battle Line: Creighton -3.5 (143) via Odds Shark

Prediction: Creighton has one of the top players in all college basketball in Doug McDermott. His 30 points against the Ragin’ Cajuns led Creighton into the round of 32 and the Bluejays will look for him to continue attacking on the offensive end. But Baylor’s defense has been stout as of late and hasn’t allowed an opponent to score more than 70 points in the Bears’ last three contests. I look for McDermott to take over early, hitting shots both from the outside and in the paint. Baylor won’t have an answer for Creighton’s high-powered offense and the Bluejays will find themselves in the Sweet 16.
